Tonight, on the TBN show, with Paul and Matt and Laurie Crouch (January 30th, 2003), I listened for the first time to the reading of revelation by Karen Heimbuch. I was floored....I was sitting on the edge of my seat, with my mouth hanging open, listening to each and every word. It was magical, like hearing a great and wonderful story. I was EXTREMELY blessed by hearing it. I have wanted to read revelations for some time...and have tried a couple of times, but for the life of me, I could not figure it out and it would just frustrate me. Please let Karen know that my son is having a wonderful time learning this. He feels like there is a reason God has given him such a good memory and this is a way to use it. He has been memorizing scripture for years but never thought to do something like this. We have gone to the library and checked out books on gems, looking up jasper etc. Next we are going to look up the animals, and do some word study with words like glory, honor, etc. I am hoping that my son and I will get an even deeper picture and understanding of what is happening in this chapter and how heaven is worshinp Jesus so that we can worship Him more in spirit and truth. My goal for New Year's is chapter 4, but we are going right into chapter 5. If it's not to much trouble could you send me 4 and 5. I hope he can learn it all but for now we are saying just 4 and 5. This came at a great time, we homeschool Darren and chose to study Genesis as his history/science and parts of Revelation as it comes up in our study of Genesis. We plan to do Revelation next. How awesome for him to have this hidden in his heart. My husband and I are blessed as we listen to this but do not have the same gifting in memorization as our son.
